On my quest to a healthier me I made of list of all the physical activities I wanted to do and all events I wanted to participate….etc. One of those is a walk/run that supports a charity or for a good cause. As a Women’s Health Action Hero I learned about the RUN 10 FEED 10. This is the 5th year of the event, created because 48 million Americans are going hungry and in need of help. Run and give back at the same time, RUN a 10K and FEED 10 hungry people in your city. It only takes $100 to provide a family of four with a month’s worth of meals.

*pssst* I know we aren’t all runners, Lord knows I’m not but this is a great way to get in shape and meet new people while lending a helping hand.


RUN 10 FEED 10 has flagship events in major cities. Don’t worry if you don’t see your city on the list, you can still give back by creating your own run or joining someone else Fun Run.
